AFO with a NEURO SWING System Ankle Joint
The medical supply store Höftmann from Bremerhaven treated this patient who had undergone a partial foot amputation and subsequently recorded the noticeable improvements. The patient suffered a severe foot inflammation, which required an amputation up to the Chopart line.
After his initial treatment, the patient had a pathological gait, which manifested itself in excessive tibial progression, an asymmetrical step length and an unsteady feeling when walking. The medical supply store has now produced a new partial foot prosthesis with a NEURO SWING system ankle joint by FIOR & GENTZ.
The video illustrates how his gait improved thanks to the new treatment. Among other things, a complete heel-to-toe movement is recognisable. The patient himself says that he feels more secure with the new orthosis.
