NEURO VARIO-SWING System Ankle Joint with plug + go Modularity

The NEURO VARIO-SWING system ankle joint provides an increased dorsiflexion-assist. The spring unit ensures a controlled lowering of the foot and a controlled tibial progression with knee flexion moment during loading response.

The system joint features a dynamic and adjustable plantar flexion stop. The orthosis’ alignment can also be adjusted. The range of motion can be modified in both dorsiflexion and plantar flexion. In dorsiflexion, the range of motion can be changed using the screw unit (maximum 10°). In plantar flexion, the adjustment is made via the motion limiting screw and the selected spring unit. All spring units are interchangeable. The coil spring in the screw unit reduces the noise of the static stop.

plug + go Modularity

Furthermore, the system joint is equipped with plug + go modularity. This means that it can be converted into any other system ankle joint with plug + go modularity by exchanging the functional unit. For the conversion into the NEURO HiSWING, the spirit level must also be mounted.
