At OT World in Leipzig 2024, we took clear before and after pictures of this patient. She was diagnosed with monoplegia in her right leg after a sports accident in 2010 and initially even had to rely on a wheelchair.

In 2016, she was fitted with a KAFO with a NEURO HiTRONIC system knee joint and a NEURO SWING 2 system ankle joint from FIOR & GENTZ. The video clearly shows that the patient has achieved an almost physiological gait with her new orthosis and can even walk without losing stability. In her job as an orthotist, she can now race against children who have been fitted with new orthoses.
