Conversion

This online tutorial describes the conversion of a system ankle joint with plug + go modularity to a NEURO HiSWING system ankle joint with plug + go modularity using the NEURO SWING 2 system ankle joint as an example. Due to their construction, all system ankle joints with plug + go modularity can be converted among each other by exchanging the functional unit. Further information can be found in the online tutorial on the assembly of “System Ankle Joints with plug + go Modularity”.

Step 1/4

You can convert the NEURO SWING 2 as well as all system ankle joints with plug + go modularity to a NEURO HiSWING system ankle joint in just a few steps. The NEURO HiSWING system ankle joint offers individual adjustment options for the ankle joint angle.

Step 2/4

To convert the system ankle joint to a NEURO HiSWING, you need:

  • the NEURO HiSWING functional unit with the corresponding system width,
  • a spirit level,
  • a T6 hexalobular screwdriver/bit.
     

Step 3/4

Disassemble the source system joint:

  • Unscrew both countersunk flat head screws from the cover plate.
  • Place the washer on the cover plate and screw the pressing screw, not entirely, into the thread of the first screw.
  • Push the joint's upper part and the cover plate apart by exerting force on them (see arrows). This can be done by using a vice or by controlled knocks.
  • Remove pressing screw and washer.
     

Step 4/4

Clean the surfaces to be adhered. Use a small amount of AGOMET® F330 in order to adhere the spirit level into the cut-out shaped by the dummy. Let the adhesive harden sufficiently.
